As you all know the Toyota LB Gran Prix has always had a celebrity race before the main event. Now you all also know that the cars in said event have always been Celicas. Now that the Celica has officially been discontinued what car do you think will be the one that replaces it in the celebrity portion of the weekend. Do you guys think it will be the Scion Tc, Corolla XR-S, Matrix XR-S? Or will Toyota continue using the celica?

Suddenly the celebrity race takes on a new importance. Which car will be crowned the Celica sucessor? I'm guessing Solara. But the TC is, unfortunately, a strong contender.

I'd bet anything it'll be the TC. Toyota's put so much backing behind this it's unbelievable. I wish they'd stick with the celica's though.

if it continues, i would think..nothing
there are no other toyota's that have the same setup as a celica and wouldn't be meant to race.

no it doesn't. Nothing out performs the ultimate suspension of a minivan. ^^ but yah the handling of the celica owns the sienna though

What if they continue to still use the celicas even if they are discontinued. I doubt it, I'd say the TC.

supercharged with some stickers on the paintjob, trd suspension, aem Intake, trd exhaust, strut bar...

It would be the Corolla XRS. Didja know in WRC, Toyota isn't in teh first division, but the second. They use some variant of the Corolla which has typical AWd and a fuckin sweet engine.
Imagine if the XRS had AWD and was t/c'ed.

...S/C tc for the pace car...know what would be sweet...running every gen. celica for the race...mmmmmmmm gt-four...yeah mr.-2 hard tops would b sweet too...i heard they're gonna use double cab tundras(lifted)..ha!!!
