i cut the wrong wire to the drl's and i didnt know what that wire belong 2 nothing went wrong with the car. but i notice that the abs light wouldn't come on when i turn on the car (you know when you first start ur car and all the little lights come on)any ways i put the wire back together and the light still wont come on. what i want to know is does the light come on cause i really dont remember if it did before i cut the wire. this is the wire that i cut.

wow..hope someone can asnwer this..my ABS light also don't light on..i dun even know how to check to see if i have ABS or not..i don't want to try the go real fast and slam on the brake all the way, if the brake shake then you have ABS if not then you don't..
go to the fuse box under the hood and check the abs fuse, if it blown then replace it..

go to the fuse box under the hood and check the abs fuse, if it blown then replace it.. It's not too hard to lock your brakes without ABS if you know how to do it. Try an empty place without too many people around. Roll at around 25 MPH and slam on the brakes real hard (harder than you've ever done it/ever need to) and keep them down (don't pump). If your brakes lock you'll know

i was thinking about disabling the DRL but put a toggle switch in between the cutted wire..so like if you decided you want to have ur DRL back then just flip the switch, voila you got ur DRL back, and if you don't feel like to have it on, the flip and you won't.. or ??????

Why dont you just reconnect the wire? that would work..strip both wires and wrap it or solder it and put electrical tape around it.
