ok guys, i want to lower my car and get better suspension. I've been searching around and still can't decide. I know coilovers are better overall, but I dont have the money to buy some otherwise i would. I have a 00 gts if that makes a difference.
What i want to know is does it really make a big difference between coilovers and just springs? Any expirences?
I bought my car used and purchased an extended warranty on it. Would putting on new springs ruin my suspension in the long run even though i don't drive my car hard or crazy? Would it void all suspension warranty?
Could i just lie and say i bought the car like that if ever i have suspension problems and bring it to the toyota dealership? (i bought the car from a family dealership)
I'm leaning towards either tein or tanabe springs, any opinions? I don't need it super low, but nice. yah know what i mean?
Thanks in advance and any help would be greatly appriciated!

Just finished installing my Tein S.Tech springs today. I went with the springs because the drop is not too low but looks VERY nice (i didnt want to have to buy new stuts, etc.) It also drives AWESOME! I am on a college student budget so I went with the s.techs which only cost me around $150 total (i saved about $150 by installing them myself).
I will take some pics if you would like.
