Is that the 2ZZ engine? I heard for the Matrix the motor is only rated at somewhere around 175 HP instead of 180?

Well its a 2ZZGE engine same thing and i think the XRS has 175 because of other things then the engine such as Intake or watever but the engine is exact same except for the Exaust manifold which i think you have to put on from celica but not sure il get back on that, Engine is sittin in my garage didnt put it in yet

Yah, once you have the Celi's exhaust, Intake & computer hooked up, it will provide the full HP potential. The difference is all in tuning; the block is the same.

Cause they are resistors, and the ECU will not even recognize them.

the chips hes refering to replace actual parts of the computors (there not a resistor that goes between the maf and computor) but i was un aware that jet made them fro the celica

computor wise i would jsut do the pfc

oh and the computor will recoginize it but then re program it self to correct what it thinks is a proplem
