I'm looking at a few items online that are obviously US companies. The price on a full authentic Urethane Kaminari kit comes out to about $1,100 Canadian plus shipping... my local speed shop estimated about $2,000 for a kam kit. That's a big difference. I really doubt duty, taxes and shipping could be $900 What do you guys think? Only drawback I can see is if there is damage during shipping, it would be much easier to tell the speed shop to fix it rather than me having to take care of it. Thanks for any help.

if a company even suggests shipping via UPS, just withdraw a few hundred dollars and flush them down the toilet...save yourself the time also, try to avoid purchasing from the US if there is any possible way you can get the item from someone in Canada.

^^^^ yeah I've had a couple bad experiences with UPS also. Like double billing me etc.. I try to buy from Canada as much as possible but you can't always get everything.

UPS Sucks... The overcharge customs fee.. They said that make a surchage because they handle the customs stuff by themself... Bullshit!
As for the taxes.. you will pay the taxes you pay when you normally buy something in canada!
