Just got my AEM today and installed it. As I install my MAF to the AEM pipe, the screw broke. ![angry angry](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/angry.gif) WTF! To make the story short..AEM sent me the wrong screws. They gave me long one, or pipes with shorter threads. I don't know if AEM will replace this pipe. What you guys think? For now I used the stock screws and was able to mount it with just 1 with couple washers in it. So far no CEL...

Yeah i'm gonna give them a call tomorrow. I'm not sure if anyone else had a hard time usingh those black screws the provide. ![frown frown](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/frown.gif) On the other hand, I love it when I shift, I can clearly hear the sucking sound and the "whhhooooaaaaa" sound ![rofl rofl](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/rotf.gif) from the inside...

hmm, although you got screwed (no pun intended, well ok, a little bit ![tongue tongue](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/tongue.gif) ) it seems like the things you used to make up for it doesnt hinder the Performance. try your best to get it resolved, if it doesnt work, then oh well, at least you can hear a the CAI noise, right? ![grin grin](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/grin.gif)

you should be able to use the stock screws for the MAFS to screw into the CAI.

Well even the stock screw I had a hard time securing it. I have to use 2 washers to put it in between so that it will tighten. Well..no CEL yet since today is the first day after I installed it. Hopefully it won't show up anymore.

I finally was able to resolve my problem with the screw. My girlfriend's uncle had a drill like one of those fabrication shops and was able to drill through the hole and remove the damage screw. Next I called AEM and they said they are gonna send me the missing piece. According to them they didn't know that GT comes with HID. ![rofl rofl](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/rotf.gif) I guess AEM and me are all good now ![thumbsup thumbsup](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/thumbsup.gif)

Oh I forgot to mention that kit didn't come a bracket for rellocating my HID ballast mount. I had it for a week now and no CEL at all. Installing the ECU hose adaptor on the radiator fan was the only difficult thing because it was very tight but I manage to go around it with a simple tool. Kit was very easy to install...
