I know the diff is in the material but I have heard good things and bad about both. Fiberglass is lighter and harder to install yet Urethane is stronger but heavier and it warps. Is that true and what do you think one should go with. Not to show but to have a better looking oo GTS? blk by the way.

Urethane is more flexible, so if you hit something it won't crack and break on you. It does from my experience weigh a little more...Most people go with Urethane if possible...although it is more expensive. Oh and it also might cost a little more to paint because it has to go through a certain de-greasing stage...so you have to make sure the body shop you take it to knows that...otherwise the paint won't stick.

Have a quick read through this:
https://celicahobby.com/forums/ubbt...erglass-vs-polyurethane-myths-facts.html

Personally, I prefer High Quality Fiberglass.

And with that -- my favorite saying goes like this, "if you plan on crashing your car a lot, you shouldn't modify your car". grin

And also review this article:

^^^ They don't make the original Vizage fronts like that anymore. The ones on the market now are replicas. I think Isaac got one of the last ones made, making him the lucky dog. happywink

How much heavier is Urethane than heavy duty Fiberglass? wave I'd rather have Urethane for durability and fitment, but if its too heavy, I should probably go with Fiberglass. confused

which would hold up better in various weathers like from being really hot to freezing. Cause i live in missouri and it can get really hot like upto 115 then really cold with plenty of snow and ice.
