Hi guys...
my engine is making a high pitched whistle wen i start it up in the mornin.. onli tends to make this noise wen the engine is cold .. and it makes this noise for awhile till the engine warms up wen im driving .. i was just wondering if this is normal in celicas? and if sumone could tell me wat it is ..

i just no its around the engine

probably your belt for your motor. Belt tensioner perhaps?? you have to be more descriptive and precised on to where it's coming from.

Sounds like this... Does it constantly do it then goes away? If it's near the left side of the engine bay around the belt area usually this it the problem. Get it replaced under warranty. Spray belt dressing on it if you have no more warranty. Worked for me thumbsup

hey man it's the belt tensioner had the same thing happen to mine couple weeks after i bought it you will get a squeak until the car warms up the worst the tensioner becomes the longer it will squeak

If you are under warranty, get the belt tensioner replaced.
