i always use a microfiber towel..no worries that way

100% cotton doesn't mean 100% cotton.
Go with a MF test it out by wiping the back of a cd with it and see if it scratches.
(test can go for anything that you touch to your paint)

I tried the NXT Generation Wax, it makes the car shiny but I like the Liquid Gold better, it give the car a deep rich shine, and seems to bead off water better too. OR maybe i just think that, oh well as long as its meguirs it works well.

i don't use 100% cotton terry cloth, i don't like them as much as a microfiber towel. use a microfiber

I use a 100% cotton towel but with the edges cut off because I was told the thread they use in the stitching will usually scratch the paint. Makes sense to me, I have no problems. ps, thanks OzzyZR
