LED's like those usually come with an aftermarket alarm, and are installed along with the alarm.

Do you want the LED to be in its current position, or do you want it on the dash also?

All you have to do is buy a new led and cut the old one off, wire the new led to the old wire and you're set.

Anything can be replaced, if you take your time. It has to be a led, you might have to take the entire switch out to do it.

You sure? I have never heard of that with the VIP system.

It's usually just a light that blink when the alarm is armed.

Yea,I've never heard of that either. The LED has a positive and negative wire. All you have to do is cut the old one and solder the new one.

Positive. When I got my 30,000 mile service done they disabled my alarm for some reason. I called them up and they had me push the LED button while a started the car. And low and behold it worked! spineyes thumbsup
