Anybody have any tips on how to avoid getting the water into the CAI filter during car wash? I know about the fender wall that you can create but I don't have the time to build one and my car really needs a bath.

you don't have time to duct tape the holes in your fender?? confusedi can only see it being damaging if you have the car on while you spray the actual filter itself with the hose...but only a dummass trying to purposely destroy his car would do that. rofl rofl

you shouldnt need to spray is that hard on the inner side of the fender, ive never needed so since ive been washing my car...plus theres no chance of hydrolock since i know thats what your referring to. I use my pressure washer and still blast the hell out of my front bumper to get those dead bugs off, no damage done to the intake or engine, the only way a slight problem would happen is if you washed the car with the engine running...then it could suck water in

nothing will happen when the car is off or on, unless you start spraying ur filter with the hose while revving

I see... smile well I just got my car wash today and I was kinda worried of the small droplets that hit the filter. I let the car dry under the sun hopefully those water drops evaporated. Thanks for the input... thumbsup

This thread's topic seemed so comical when I first glanced at it. Almost like..."what do I do when I run outta toilet paper". Sorry.

I think the guys have already stated how to go about doing this.
