i got tein s-tech springs and this guy that is going to lower my car for me told me i need a rear camber kit or just a camber kit because my tires wouldnt last for a week without one. Is this true? If it is where can i get a good one?

i didnt need one... but if you want one you can get one. i dont know how much it really helps.

Did you get an alignment? There is a certain degree of adjustability, even with the stock suspension bits.

i havent lowered it yet and it's going to be lowered 1.4 inches all around

With only 1.4" drop you shouldn't really need a camber kit.

this guy was saying my back tires would pinch in or something like that and wear really really fast. I def. need to get it aligned afterwards right?

ive had my car lowered on the rear 2 inches or maybe more and all i needed was an alignment...My tires are still going strong after 2 years.

1.4"? nah, you'll be alright! but if you feel like getting some camber kit, go for it. it wouldn't hurt either, well, maybe your wallet...

nope, you dont HAVE TO need it.
just get an alignment after a week or two after your springs are installed.

The guy is a dumbass You don't need a camber kit with the Tein springs. I had my rear slammed with Tanabe coilovers and the tires wore out evenly. The tires are gonna be tilted inwards a little bit, but it's not gonna wear out your tires prematurely. Having them tilted inwards gives you better handleling. Plus the stock camber can be adjusted What I would get would be new struts if you have a lot of miles on your stock struts.

You dont need camber kit with S-Tech. What I normally do is check the tire pressure and make sure all 4 wheels are well balanced.

alright...think i should get new shocks and struts? what's a good brand and where can i get them. i really dont want to spend too much money for this so i can get my exhaust soon. also i have 72,000 miles on my car.
