OEM Style with a twist

check it out...I have an opportunity to get this hood over the weekend...what do you guys think??? It will also come with a raised VIS carbon Fiber C-one style hood scoop

i don't really like it...it look's like the carbon fiber hood apc makes.

it is the carbon fiber hood that APC makes I think...I just like it cause its a little different than the OEM one...here is a better pic of it on a celica...

carbon fiber hoods are retarded. Might shead some pounds, but makes your car look ugly.

At first I thought it was really bad but on that car it doesnt look too bad. If you like it get it. I cant imagine anyone really not liking it in everday life when were not analyzing every aspect of it. Well except for the people ^^^ who say they dont even like carbon fiber hoods Make sure you like it though because their pretty expensive and you wanna get the right one.

its actually coming off of a GT 300 celica...he's selling his car, and is looking to part a few things out...I'm gonna look at it tomorrow in person

it depneds on what kind of body kit that you're getting...

the thing is that I've got the opportunity to get it for like $300!!!...not sure about a kit yet, but still a unique carbon fiber hood for $300 and have it on my car by tonight is not too bad...hmmmmmm

I was looking at one at the local speed shop. The guys there say that the APC carbon fibre "looks" cheaper than most other. Said there is a visible difference between APC and say... VIS. But I never saw it in person so good luck

good deal, and on the picture with the blue celica with it, it looks like it has a good fitment, plus it was previously on a car before so you can see how it measures up.

Actually, my girlfriend told me that if I were to buy one that she would never get in my car again. Maybe I should get one then.

You have been more help to me while I am building my car than anybody I have ever met, so the least I could do is give my opinion on the hood. I like because it's differet, but I just keep seeing two big footprints on the front of that hood. I'm sure it would grow on me though.
Why don't you just do what I did and ask thousands of people if they have a BRS hood and hope one of the 30 people who do own one sells it to you. Worked for me. Thanks qt1ncelica.
Anyway, the hood looks cool and the only thing that should matter is if you like it. Thanks again for the advise on my suspension. I am getting the Skunk2 coilovers and KYB AGX shocks.

This is the same hood (apc) that is on the ImportRacer mag celica, the flat yellow one. I like the hood.
