youd be surprised what you can survive... i hit a poll doing 70 in my jetta all the force was on the drivers side my back door was pressed 2 feet in to my front seat thankfully i wasn't wearing a belt so it threw me in to the back of car walked away .. no head injury did break my arm hand and wrist thoguh

u can definately survive that thing...
i had a friend turn over in his pajero with 5 other people in the car at about 100km/60 miles and hit a huge tree... none of them even had to go to the hospital thanks god...
oh well, hopefully the driver and pessengers werent hurt too bad..

slvceli did you have a family member killed in an accident or something? i noticed a couple of threads where you got pretty defensive about it...if you did i'm sorry dude.
My one friend had his car torn into 3 pieces when he hit an F350 head on doing 95mph. The driver of the F350 was killed...so you know that had to have been a freakin collision. I've never seen any car to this day near as bad as his car was...i don't have any pics but well it was mangled as hell...that guy probably lived unless he had direct contact with his head. *sigh* boys and their toys...

No I havent had any family or friends die in car accidents. Its just that the chances of it happening are pretty good for all of us to know someone who does die from an accident. I'm not necessarily defensive, I just think it was really inappropriate. It doesnt have to effect me directly, I still don't want other people to have to go through that.

yeah it looks as though the driver would have been ok if he was wearing a seatbelt, and most likly was if he was drifting, because its not fun getting slung everywhere when drifting you almost have to wear it if your REALLY drifting

The passenger would have been much more hurt than the driver. The driver's side doesn't look too crushed.
