Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior TRD Exhaust

Did the TRD Exhaust come with a CARB sticker or certificate? Is one needed? I had mine installed at the Toyota dealer and they threw away everything that came with the exhaust after they put it on. Did anything else come with the exhaust that I should know about? I never looked in the box before I handed it over to be put on, I should've though.

It should be carb legal since they do come as stock options on certain models of toyotas...even scions

No...Anything TRD (as far as i know) is street legal and doesn't void a warranty (unless there's a warning otherwise).

It will pass all emissions you can throw at it...is 88db out of the maximum 95db exhaust note...

I bought mine used and i love it...i only had to buy two nuts to fasten it on...and it's wonderful...i wouldn't worry if i were you

if they give you crap about it have them (or you can do it) call Toyota Motor Corp and find out the info. that'll shut them up

The TRD exhaust doesn't affect any emissions equipment (like any other axle back exhaust), so it doesn't need CARB certification.

Unless you got the TRD Kazuma installed you dont need CARB cert.
