My roommate hit my car with his bike, but he kept saying he didnt do it, but I knew it's him. The point is he made a dant and 2 big scratch on my left front (not bumper), and I went to body shop, it's about 160 to fix the dant and scratch,(not repaint the whole pedal) I am thinking to fix it or not, my car is almost brand new, the dant keeps bugging me, but 160 is a lot for me...what would you do?

polykarb, i understood exactly what he said just fine. his friend hit his car with their bike, but isn't owning up to doing it. it'll cost 160 to get it fixed (minus paint) and its a lot of money for him at the moment.
is that the jist of it lino? i'm guessing your also wondering if you should try to get your friend to pay for it? if he did it, then he should be the one to pay to get it fixed. simple as that. if he won't admit to damaging your car then really... how good of a friend can he be right?

Pics first? If it is REALLY bugging you..then it must be big enough to be worth the $160...but i'd say hang him by his toes until he coughs up the loot

If he does not want to pay for it. Find a new place to live. Once found, kick his bike down hardcore one day and move.

"left front (not bumper)"???? lmao..do you mean the fender then? If so, i would probably just leave it. Sooner or later, you're going to get dings or dents from other people's car.

Well I can tell you, I just bought my car and found a few scratches on the car > Brand New, only had at the time 200 miles on it. Anyway I made the dealer give me a we-owe you list, so far I got the entire front bummer repainted, looks really good, can't even tell. I go in on Nov to do the rest, they wanted to wait for the paint to cure before doing more work, they are also including a free complete detailing job. I would be a major ass hole if they even put a minor scratch on my car inside or out. So it depends on you, mine is paid for and I still keep the plastic down on the floor mats. Now we will see with the rest, so I would say, yes make him fix it. Or he will pay even more in the future, karma man, it will come back on him it always does, you tell him that once. Unless he is a dumb ass he will pay to get it fixed.

Good news !!! That guy payed me today, he payed me 160 dollars !! Because my landlord was yering at him, he said that he is already 25 years old, but he has no responsibility for what he did...I was happy to hear that, and I am going to fix my car tomorrow.

If he hadn't, I would've considered asking him to more out.
