Sorry I don't have a pic of it, but I'm sure you'll know what I'm talking about. Below the wheel and to the left, there's a button with a picture of a window and an x over it. What does that do? I'd look it up in the Owner's Manual, but the bit.. i mean lady who had the car before me kept it.

I laugh at Toyota for making that button on our cars. On other cars, it locks the passenger controls. The driver can still put down any window he wants with his controls. Too bad our car has center window buttons. Good work Toyota

It is the special edition 2001 self destruct button. If you push it the will blow up.

it should of been a Boost Button!!! It should have been an instant teleport button to the place you want to go or have been. Better than boost, time, and space all rolled in one.

It's amazing to me how stupid someone must be to actually make a thread about this. Do you not have an owners manuel?
Let's see; It has the picture of a window, and an X. It doesn't take an electrical engineer to figure that one out.

Maybe the button should be modified into an "ejection seat" button.

My car is used and the previous owner kept it. I also said that it was probobly a simple answer. I got that answer. And by the way, I am far from stupid. I got a 32 on my ACT, which, if you are unfamiliar, is approximately a 1430 SAT.

since this button is useless...have anyone tried to mod this button into something else? like combine it with the garage door DIY and change it into a garage door opener?
