Damn congrats man! For my 16th birthday I got $50, but I was still thankful for that!  I hope its a manual or pretty soon after you get into cars more you will want a manual. Please let it be a manual.

The sky's the limit! Brakes, suspension, engine mods, clutch, body, interior. You could easily spend as much on mods as the original cost of the car, however much you want to do. Have fun, but don't hurt the celi!

do you know how to drive manual? 'cause i didn't until i got my car, but man did i learn fast. i've had the car for about 1&1/2 to 2 months and i haven't driven an auto since.

Why is it coming from japan? I pre-ordered my 2003 too so does that mean it came from japan. i ordered in late august 2002 and got it on jan 15, 2003 to be exact. Did you get to pick what you want your car to have. Like it picket the action package, sun roof, etc.

That's a nice present. I also got a Celi for my 17th B-Day but all they did was sign the paper and etc. I had to make the monthly, lol. I dunno if you could consider that a present.
In any case, enjoy!! Post tons of pics when you get it and be careful when driving it, don't get to excited and ruin the car.
Another mod you should get...clear corners...

 yeah well im at home waiting for the phone call from toyota to tell me when i'll be getting the car. Yeah i joined this site a while ago n this is basically what pushed me into absolutely loving the car (thx e-celica  ) i already learned how to drive stick on a 92 honda accord so that i dun wreck my baby (been driving stick for about 8 months now) and i think i got a good handle on it... just waiting the feel of the clutch on the celica.. wow!! i want em 2 call now!! i wanna know when i get it!! yeah i was looking into the gts but its just too much on insurance Car specs: ABS, in-dash 6 cd changer,leather interior, moonroof, keyless entry and fogs... im honestly dieing with anticipation oh... in total car was just about $30 000 (canadian $$$)

Congratz  , I love this car, the best one I had yet. Man you will be obsessed in no time at all. I was looking for months and was ready to go off my rocker just looking for a new one. Now that I have it, I can't seem to stop driving it. I have plans for tons of mods.
