did anyone go to autofest this past weekend it was in S.D it was a nice show it was sunny but not to hot there was a nice breeze the whole day.Btw i came in first place for best celica and my team member "goldcelica"got best toyota all together our team(935 wicked draggers)took home 10 trophies out of the 15 cars we took if any one has pic of the show please post i forgot my camera.

i dont think my team mates didnt get any trophies. there cars arent as hooked up as 935 and showcase. but we're having fun.

well yeah its all about having fun and meeting other people with the same interest.

I thought the show was a great turn out. I was a sleep most of the time catching some sleep because I was at rosearito just before the show getting butt drunk and clubin all night. I thought they didn't have a Celica class at the show cause they never announced it but I got a anonymous call from a judge and they told me I won 2nd for best Celica. Three out of the five cars from my team took home trophies. I also heard Ryan's (GoldCelica) name got called out for best Toyota. I noticed he had the Trail underbody plate. Those things look awesome in person.

You beat that yellow celica!!!!? That's awesome. That car is tricked the hell out. Maybe the widebody kit doesn't help as much as I thought it would. Or am I missing something here? What did his engine look like?

yeah, that is a lot of carbon fiber work...and I bet its rediculously expensive...probably at least 10,000 in bodywork to get it all together and looking pretty

I think you could beat him, depending on what his engine and trunk look like. I'm sure he would score high in body mods, but since that's just part of the scoring, you would score higher in interior with that system and nitrous set-up you have. He has a big hole in his dash instead of a system and his interior is scratched up. Plus it just looks incomplete the way it's painted and the stock wheel.
Can I see a picture of your engine?

my engine is simple i have carbon valve cover,carbon fuse box,and carbon ecu cover and some hoses but give me a couple of weeks i'll have my chrome valve cover and my polish apr strut bar.That should bring out my engine bay.

That should look great. I love the Carbon Fiber covers. I had my spark plug cover chromed. It took me forever to find a place that chromes plastic, but it should look good with the chrome intake manifold I had built.

Looks great. I thought you used the BRS hood for the show. You got the new hood on pretty fast. Speaking of hoods, I would like to tell everybody that qt1ncelica is the best seller I have ever bought from.
Even though she new she could have charged me twice as much as she did, she sold me her hood at a great price. Many people tried to buy the hood from under me, she said no and held it for me just because I said I wanted it when she offfered me the hood. She even waited about 2 weeks because I had trouble with my credit card and still held it for me.
Now she is trying to get me a good deal on an APR GT300 widebody kit. Thanks again Kathy.

I just found more pictures of that yellow Celica on another site. I love all the Carbon Fiber work and he has a very nice car, but he needs to slap whoever did the molded fiberglass in his trunk. Just terrible. I think you would have still got best Celica even if he did compete.
I'm still trying to find more pictures of that brown Celica that was there. Was it nice? Who won best of show that day?

I've won 7 this yr. at different shows held by different entertainment companies. I take 2 recent ones as display during the show. I do like his Civic it's one of the only few 4dr civics that fulfills every category in the rulebook of judging that gets full points he keeps it very clean. It's a great show car to follow. It is original many people hate on it but hey he's won how many best of shows untouched in a row??? And the $1500.00 cash prize how many times...? He is selling the car. Guess he's doing something right and getting paid for his success. Only time he had lost his streak was against our JGTC Widebody RX-7 who came down from FL since he got called out. Hey BadCeli how's your ride doing btw?

7 best of shows this year!!!? That's awesome. I can't tell you how much it kills me not be in shows this year. Next year I will take a trip back home to Cali. I want to be in a show with you and Kathy just once, then I'll go back to texas.
My car is comming along very slowly. It's very fustrating. My builder has had it for 8 months and all he has done is the shaved handles, roll bar and started on the door panals and dash, but he say's it will be done by the time I get back.
When I get back It will have a chromed out turbo charged, nitrous injected engine, GT300 widebody kit, BRS hood (thanks to Kathy), full custom interior, 7000 watt zapco system, tien coilovers, Rotora big brake kit (maybe sponsored thanks to you), Eclipse gas lid, Carbon Fiber mirrors, Corbeau A4's, momo comando, PS2, 3 screens and then I'll be comming for you. If I can beat you, then I will feel like I have finally made something worth bragging about. Thanks again for all your help.
