It's a Khaos super turbo charger built for fuel economy...
"The Khaos is a small air-regulating cylindrical device made of stainless steel that feeds the correct mixture of fuel and air into the engine while it runs on idle, resulting in better combustion and minimising emissions"

I'm don't think it's gonna boost the performance but it looks like it's gonna save a hell of gas consumption and lower your emission level.

I think if it's not too overly expensive and fits our celicas, I could talk my parents into getting one of these (for the gas savings!). Lemme know what you find out

"The device, which costs the equivalent of $116, is installed on the engine's intake manifold. It only works on cars running on gasoline. It has minimum maintenance requirements and car owners only need to wash the mechanism's filter every three months with soap and water to keep it in top shape." "We are not in a rush," Catibayan said. "We want to first focus on the Philippine market. Eventually we want to go into joint ventures with businessmen to sell Khaos overseas. Maybe next year." I'd jump all over it if I could grab one now

Well.. my aunt is in the Philippines right now and as far a the pricing goes I think it's reasonable. On the other hand, if I'm really convinced that it works, then I'm gonna buy a bunch and probable negotiate with the price and sell some here. I'm just waiting for response from my friend about this product.

I doubt you well really gain any hp. Its kinda like those Tornado superchargers for your cars, it helps the car be more effecient by getting better air circulation into the car. It probably will really help in fuel economy like they claim but don't expect any performance gains, it looks too restrictive. The horsepower increase that they claim is probably due to the leaner mixture at idle where your car doesn't really need horespower and 15:1 ratio is pretty high unless you use high octane gas, and I think the Phillipines has higher octane gas then in the US.

Very true.
If it does work as well as it says, it would WAY more than pay for itself in the gas savings.
And if, somehow, it have 30% more power (which I highly doubt), that would be about THE best possible mod for the price.
I'm wondering though... Would the Celi's ECU be able to cope?

I think its too restrictive for our performance oriented cars, its supposed to attach with our intakes and our intakes pipes are way bigger, meaning the air is going to have to go squeeze through that small thing. It'll probably only help economy cars, like a Toyota Echo.

I bet it works like a blow-by catch can; it has a filter that needs cleaning every once in a while... of course it may be like air injection; a little fan that kicks in when the car is at idle to keep air moving down the intake.
I recall hearing plans for a blow-by catch canister which remind me of this thing... it's just a very fancy catch can, or an air-injection system for cars not originally equipped with one. I'd definitely want to learn more befoer getting one.
