I saw a Celi at my school parking lot today, and it has on the back (Where GTS emblem is). I was wonder do they make special edition for celi?

In canada, they called special edition which is with Action packages on. I believed its called panasonic special edition.

or maybe he just had it custom made. a special edition badge

in canada there is a panasonic special edition which is just the action package plus some other little cosmetic goodies on the interior

'01 and '02 Celica model years in Canada. The GTS was offered in a "Red only" package that included the Action Package, color matched seats, steering wheel, door panels, shift knob, etc. It drew from Toyotas partnership with Panasonic...each special model came with a Panasonic 200w MP3 player. For '03 it was called the TRD Edition and the GT & GTS were both available with Silver and Carbon Blue paint respectively. I could be wrong on a few of those facts. Retail for each was a couple grand more than base. eg. My '03 TRD Edition came to 31K as compared to $27K for a stock GT here in Canada.

But the one I saw does not have action package, it looks like the basic Celica, and I think that car is a GT. Maybe he put that emblem himself

i've added a few things obviously but this gives you an idea

So what makes it diff inside?

Color coded (red) seats, Steering wheel, door inserts and floor mats. It also came with a red leather wrapped shift knob and the panasonic deck. I've changed the shift knob and boot and deck in mine though.

lol ppl ... fellow US citizens where you get good aftermarket shits ... we in canada ... get this package called TSUNAMI (in japanese meaning tidal wave) ... yes it HAS panasonic cd/mp3 deck ... if stock's available ...~ there is an elblm ... saids Tsunami ... but it's actually a crappy sticker because i looked at it closely yesterday ...

by the way ... that is exactly wat im gonna get ... i have been on this forum for awhile ... with no celica and now on December i can finally get a 2005 Toyota Celica GTS Tsunami Edition ... with Thunder Cloud exterior (tat exterior comes with red color keyed seats and steering wheels and stuff ...) ... there's a blue one but ... i dunno ... its all good ...

since canada has like few aftermarket stuff ... i might as well safe the troble and get stock action pack ... nice and clean ~ might at most get lowering TRD suspension from dealer ...
