My freind spilled coffee all over my car. I have cloth seat covers and wondering if i can take them off and put them in the washing machine. Would they shrink or fade if i do?

i'm not 100% on this but i'm almost certain they would shrink. i doubt they'd fade much though from one wash..but i wouldn't risk it unless someone is certain otherwise.

personally, i would get them drycleaned

dude, just get the interior detailed. they wash it with that steam vaccum. they spray soapy hot water and the vaccum sucks it back.

I'm sure if you washed them on the gentle cycle and air dried them You would be alright.

But it is prolly easier to have them cleaned.

I bought this turtle wax stuff for upholstery, it worked really well. Kinda looks like a spray can with a brush on the end in the car area.

i cleaned spilled coffee out of my dads camry once, easy as shit, with the steam cleaner and time...

repeated a ton of times got it out, and then opened and left open the windows for a couple hours to dry that seat and the rest of the car i cleaned all at the same time... it "looked" brand new for a couple weeks after that, till he left on his muddy shoes in the car and they stained up the carpet
