Anyone been able to do burnouts with an automatic yet if so describe how you did it, because i saw one at the track and he had an auto and did a burnout for 10 seconds.

put the transmition in Neutral get the RPM's up and drop it into drive or Hold the break and get RPM's up then release break both are bad for your car.

Dont do a neutral drop with an Auto to try to burn your tires...it will cost you a f*** load of money in the future, cause you will be stretching your bands every time you do it. Its totally ok for manuals, but not autos!

Burnouts are a waste of time. Plus look stupid unless you have a limited slip differential to get both tires going.

you could see of power-braking works. stand on the brake and gas pedals at the same time, or E-brake and gas at the same time (cant remember, i'm used to power braking w/ RWD ).

just pull ur hand brake and step on the gas... there you go burnouts for the auto... it IS that simple...

Nice one Scuderia. Yes doing burnouts with an automatic celica is great. Until your car dosent work anymore. My new car crashes into curbs really well.
