Damn its been a while! As some of you guys know, i totalled my GT 2 months ago, not my fault, stupid bastard made a turn in front of me, spun and hit the car behind him, it was really bad , anyways, i just bought me a brand new 2004 Celica GTS! rumors say in fact may be true that Celica and MR2 production is over, well i have BOTH! collector cars MR2 3S-GTE Turbo, my other baby! So have $6,000 bucks to spend and all of it is going to performance upgrade! no more body kits for me, sleeper look is the best. I need you guys to help me out on choosing performance parts and heres what i have in mind: Rod Millen Intake or Injen Cold Air Intake (im still debating on this one coz it rains a lot here.) AMSS/TRD headers or if theres something new out there please post. TRD Kazuma exhaust, not worried about the decible, its legal here on Guam. Teins SS suspension kit Hotchkis Camber Links APR Flex Control Bar TRD Rear Strut tower bar Grounding Wires Carbon Fiber hood (Evolution Style) Short Throw Shifter (Which is the best?) Unorthodox Pulley kit (info? is it worth it?) APEXi POWER FC from MonkeyWrench (what do you guys think about this? is it worth it? does it really work?) Thanks in Advance guys! I miss you all This is fresh start for me and my baby!

ahh for get all that stufff, lol , in my opinion, go for the XS Enginerring Turbo kit, then just get the pistons and different clutch , drop your car, add some mesh grill so ppl cant see your intercooler (and so it wont get decorated with bugs) and BAM your a sleeper, no one will know, and just start doing other performance things after that!!!

TPR is pretty much dedicated soley to celica performance and have some of the best stuff avaliable for the celica. if you check out the other site you will learn more about it and yes AEM has pulleys for the GT, you cna find them at the Celica Store on this site

This is where their website will be. http://www.tuningprecisionracing.com/Rod Millen makes awesome performance parts. Can't beat Injen CAI (unless its AEM). Just get a headshield, that will block most of the water. Besides, you've got nothing to worry about unless you submerge the pipe. The newest newsflash, if you have an intake and exhaust, headers won't do shit for decent gains. Maybe 4-5 whp at the most! Although TPR is supposed to save the day. HKS Earth ground groundwire kit. Expensive, but nice! And it is a performance mod, yes! It doesn't just affect the engine either. Good luck and enjoy. I want a 3S-GTE Turbo engine!

sorry to hear about the old car, good luck w/ the new! If you want your car to last I would not suggest a turbo. you seem to have some good ideas for mods tho. good luck!

Unorthodox Pulley kit (info? is it worth it?) - AEM (still don't trust Unorthodox pulleys) Why not? I was just looking at them last night they seem to be pretty good... do a search and you'll see my point... a few people have had major engine problems after installing the Unorthodox pulleys because one has to remove the harmonic balancer. There's been a long-standing debate about whether or not the few hp benefit is worth the risk of a blown engine

The $6000 would be much better spent on a Turbo kit, your car would be a lot stronger, The kit also comes with intake and most come with a stand alone like the Power FC, so all you really need is your Kazuma exhaust. Unless you want to go N/A, then your choices would make a good setup.

Don't want to rain on your Turbo parade but XS uses Apex Power FC - the Power FC dosen't work with drive by wire (or so many have said) found on the '03 and up Celica. Mine is an '03 - did they drop the DBW for '04?. Is this not correct? That's the reason I haven't gone for XS or Blitz SC. Now I'm waiting for Staford Fab. to make thier turbo kit CARB exempt. Just my $0.02, RAW
'03 GT-S w/ Action Package. AEM CAI. TWM SS. Pivot Adj. Shift Light. Veilside Ti Teardrop Exhaust. Intrax Springs. Hotchkiss Sway Bars. APR Front Strut Brace. APR Canards. ADR Flite 5 Wheels w/Bridgestone 225/40/18 SO3 Pole Position Tires. Autometer Cobalt guages.

Dang pare that's why you've been gone. That really blows to start all over. Glad you stuck with a Celica and bought the 04'. I know you, you'll come up again 6g's is a lot to play with and since it's a 04 model being pretty new still. I'd also stay away from a kit for awhile till you get tired of the stock look. Scatter your wealth in places of great interest in the things you wish you had before. Sucks to start over but you have a great experience with what you had. Stay up bro be & safe nice to see you back!

I say go with the c2power turbo kit. It uses the emanage and emanage works with drive by wire correct?

Thanks for the info guys, but sorry im not getting into the N/A to Turbo world, one car with turbo is good enough for me, i wanna hit 13's on the track with N/A setup. Ok this is my review from your posts: TPR make products soley for our 7th Generation Celica but they dont have a website yet.
Unorthodox is not that reliable than of AEM pulley sets. (what comes with the whole set?)
So APEXi Power FC will not work with Drive-By-Wire? (so is there somebody in here experienced this?)this is some serious stuff i need to know coz im spending money on Mods wisely and please keep them commin i really appreciate it!
