Celica Forums General Discussion General HOLY CRAP...1 year of driving and 35,000 miles later...

I've oficially had my celica for 1 year today...I bought her new...and I have right close to 35,000 miles on her (DAMN!!!!)...she holds up great...I'm getting ready to do the rotora brakes, and next year will be the clutch and flywheel...I love my car, and that's probably the reason I drive so much...HOw many miles do you drive your car in a year???????

My dad's 2002 GT has nearly 90,000 miles on it (he's had it less than 2 years)

i got mine used and it had 51k, in december my baby will have one year, right now i have 71k on it i feel the same i love her

15K/year is about the national average. I think I'm right at the average. 30K+ means you're in the car 3 hours or more a day! Well, since its a Celica, its not a bad place to be

hahahhaahah how about 75k a year so thats about 150k in two years right now i have 236+k and my car is a 2000 gt

thats a lot of driving! but our cars hold up well

the best part of it is that most of my miles are on the highway in 5th gear (and here in atlanta, you hit 90+ every one of those days)

mine are from l.a traffic which is not good, stop and go traffic aghhh

I bought a 2001 brand new and Ive had it for 3 years.. I currently have 42k miles

86k on a 2000 GTS I bought it with 55 miles on it. So i put about...21,500 on it a year. I live 30 miles from where I work so I put 60 miles each time I go to and from work. About 85% is highway miles.

it still runs good, i only replaced the alternator at like 220k and the clutch three times. i usually get the cel when i drive on the freeway for long periods of time, i dont konw why, can anybody please shed light on this??? the compression for the gt is at 208 while mind is like 155psi right now. at 140 the engine needs to be replaced. ill run that bicth all the way to hell if i have to i love my car though long live the celica

Lol, most my time is spent working, but on the plus side 5k of that is the last 4 months.

I have 274 miles on mine...I got it on Monday.

Got mine a yr ago used w/66k on it. Now it has 70.4k. Thats less than 5k a year.
