hey,, did any one of you guys had Catz HID (or other compnay) installed in ur celi? i just got my upgraded last month, but till now i still can't find the "right" place to mount igniters and the ballast,, a little help??

i had a kit from hidsforless.com when they were around.. and i mounted my ballast behind the headlamp.

ahh the ballast was also integrated with the starter .. the ballast was made by hella.. <-- OEM quality with catz i can't recall where others mounted it.. but you can also use velcro tape to mount them on so if you ever want to take it off

just...mount them anywhere you find a space in the engine bay... it doesnt matter...

well,, ya i can see anywhere in the engine bay, but i was wonder if anybody has a better place to mount them...

It really doesn't matter where you mount it, just mount it as far away possible from the engine and in an area where it wont get wet when it rains or when you wash the car...the fender is a nice spot.
