Will those two tire sizes fit the stock GTS rims?

the 215 should fit, the 225's you might want to check what rim width they are made for, some can fit 6 inch rims, some need 6.5 inch rims.

when I purchased my car it had 225/50/16. It would rub when you reach a complete turn. so going with a 45 profile should allow you to put those on the rims without any rubbage

225 is for stock GTS rims.

225/45/16 is closer to stock than 215/45/16, and will have a more accurate speedo reading.

no, stock for gts is 205 on a 16" rim stock for 15" rim is 195

no, stock for gts is 205 on a 16" rim stock for 15" rim is 195 I saw in the technical section that stock 15's on a GTS are 205, and then somewhere else it said that optional 16's are 205 also.
