I wasn't doing anything stupid either. Just pulled the brake up? whats wrong with my car? please help? its an 01 gts 6 speed with 4 wheel disc abs.

If your ABS light is on, then your ABS isn't active. Check your fuses, cause the fuse that controls the power to the ABS computer may be broken. Also, does your e-brake work at all?

Check your fuses. Your ABS computer may not be receiving power.

Couple questions. Have you done any electrical modifications to you car? Did you brake real hard at any point when this all happened? If not do the indicators stay on at the same time. Or does the one indicator come on right after the other? Do the indicators go off ever? Are the indicators blinking at all?

The e-brake doesn't neccessarily have anything to do with the brake fluid. The e-brake functions through cables manually it only locks up the rear section of the car whether you have drums or disc goes the same on all Celica's.

What kind of sound and was it on the inside?
The e-brake indicator goes on and off being controlled by a spring loaded push button switch on the e-brake handle that opens and closes the signal feed indicating when the e-brake is locked up. Try this, when you pull the e-brake up the e-brake indicator light on the cluster should light up since the push button is now depressed. It works the opposite way when you depress the e-brake handle the switch stays open and signal is not sent no more so the light stays off.

Also inspect your e-brake handle. Your e-brake sensor may have gotten depressed and jammed, sensor may have snapped off the handle, spring inside the sensor may have no more resistance, wire problem, or the sensor is damaged.

Sound came from outside?
The ABS light. Try to check your ABS speed cables. Make sure they are not loose, cut, disconnected, or damaged in anyway.

Check the fuses like everyone stated last thing you want is an electrical problem and when you find the problem reset your ecu. Start fresh.

the only time your brake light will EVER go on is if your low on fluid, or the brake is on.

Exactly, try to get your pads change if it's time.

I changed my pads last night and checked everything. The fuses were all good and the ebrake was connected, although i did tighten it up. I checked everything from front to back brake-wise on the car. Everything looked good and i started the car and no lights. So i really don't know, my ecu just had a brain fart or something. But thanks for all of the help. thumbsup I appreciate it.
