I was comin back from lunch and on my way back to work. I drive through a plaza and there was a cop parked just chillin there...it was already too late because he probably saw me. so i kept goin straight towards the exit out of the plaza. i tried not stepping on my gas that hard so my exhuast wont be as loud. so anyways...i drove out and about 15 secs later i see the cop come out and got on the lane next to me. as soon as he got close to me he switched lanes...automatically i knew that i was getting pulled over. reached the next light and turned on his lights.
this is wat happened, i pulled over he came over and asked for my license. this was the convo:
me: is there a problem officer??
cop: your lights and your exhaust...u cant modify brake lights.
me: i heard that as long as they shine through their fine...
cop: nope...you have any modifications under your hood??
cop: mind if i check???
me: nope "hehehe"
me: isnt the law for exhaust 97 db??
cop: yeah youre rite, your exhaust doesnt exceed that law...if you want you can go to a smog check place and get it tested so next time you get pulled over you'll have proof that says its not.
cop: can you take your keys out of the ignition, just so that you dont run me over while i check...
me: "handed him the keys"
cop: "comes back" i'm not gonna give you a ticket, just get it fixed. if i give you one your gonna have to get a court referree and go to court...have a nice day and drive safely...
so...turned out good, good thing i rolled my windows down
probably would have given me a ticket...
