I am thinking of maybe getting a new car. I like my celica, but i want something with more potential which still being in the same price range. I have found some options here in town. I found a 99 3000GT VR4 with some upgrades like turbo timer, boost contoller. $18,500 for it. I can get it down some more but I dont know it has 84,000 miles. Then there is a 03 SRT-4 for $15,250. That is good price and it has plenty of potential. Also a VW GTI 1.8T for about $17,500. Also a car with some potential. What do ya'll think. I could just keep my car another 2 years also.

nope r32 is way too much. Only a GTI would be an option. Yeah i like SRT4s though they dont look all that great. The 3000GT kicks ass too though. 320 hp from factory twin turbo and AWD. Its nice and fast as hell. but i dont know. I need more opinions so i gonna wait and see what people say.

I would have to say the VR-4. Thats my dream car I drove the baseline model but being 6'4" didn't work out. But man its a great car. I really don't like the SR-4 neons are crappy cars thumbsdown. Not sure about the gti. Sorry but the VR-4 is just a little better than the Supra TT. You'll be spinning tire while the AWD VR-4 gets tract and then its see you lata. Thats my pick but its up to you. Good luck thumbsup wave

out of the 3 i would choose the srt. The 3000gt sucks balls. Dont listen to these people, its a slow car for the price and power. The car is heavy as fook and has horrible handling with even the rear wheel angleing crap. The car also has mad miles and looks ugly. The r32 is crap as well. Have you seen these cars in person? Its the ugliest piece of sh*t ever. I would rather drive my gts. You can get the srt with the factory upgrades, keeping the warrenty valid and kill these two cars. Another good choice is a supra tt. If you dont mind driving auto, you can find one for a reasonable price. The 6spds are a lot more expensive. Good luck with your car search

Since your range is roughly around 17ish, look for a used E36. Those have mad pickup. SRT-4 is an option, but the car is extremely unrefined. Try looking for a WRX. Those things are real nice. I'm gonna get one if I get the $$$.

srt-4 sucks. if someone is trying to sell an 03, then they probably realized the power of the car doesn't outweigh its problems and appearance. my friend had a 04 and only put on 4k miles before selling it. he had to take it back to the dealership numerous times and he got tired of it. on the other hand, he did race and push the car (after breaking it for 1100+ miles). maybe he got a bad one but i don't think the srt is worth giving up the celica for.

3000 gt has the most potential but will also have the most problems (now) srt 4 would have them later but if you have enought to get the vr 4 and recondition it it would be a fine choice you would probably need new turbos soon with that many miles not to mention sparks and wires brakes maybe battery, unless this has been a car that someone baby'd but with that many miles its sounds like a lot of work

respect the gt-s
