The power and ground wires for the sig lighter are connected via a quick disconnect. Should be a white connector. You just have to disconnect it by press the tab down and pulling it apart. As the power window thing

still going for paint, hahahahaha.
There is a clip, if you calm down and look you will see just behind the lighter. Just press on the white tab.
See, should have down vinyl. J/K

Oh, and the power windows you can't get apart. You can unscrew it and get it out of the dash but you can't get the cover off.

yes they are both just quick disconnects meaning plug it in...pull it out...its a big white tab you push to get them out...and yes I don't know if the part of the power windows thing comes off but you can try...

Oh, and the power windows you can't get apart. You can unscrew it and get it out of the dash but you can't get the cover off. you can take the power window switch apart to get the cover off. There are some screws on the bottom of it, and the whole thing comes apart if you take those out. But don't do it unless you're relatively familiar with an electronic switch cause it has some pieces and stuff on the inside of it. Not too bad though

I just stuffed newspaper in the cig lighter and went to work. Or if you have a hobby knife, you can put tape on it and cut the tape around the edges. Hope that helps

ok your losing me are you talking about the power window control or the cig lighter frame?? The window control you can't take apart and its not painted in that photo. The cig frame you take out or mask over, think McFly!

The cig frame you take out or mask over, think McFly! He is talking about the backside of the plastics. The cig lighter. He wants to take the cig lighter out completely. Sapp, I couldn't figure out how to do it either. I played with it for a while and just couldn't do it. So I stuffed it with paper real tight so the paper would come out. Her are some pics. I do not know how clear/detailed they are, but it gives the hint of how mine came out with what I did.

That wire should have been in that electrical clip that you disconnect. Follow the wire, maybe you can disconnect somewhere.

BTW, Dan I like your dash. Did you repaint the red parts yet? Thanks...I didn't repaint them, Just took off the red and left it the normal color. That would have been too much white. I am thinking of redoing it all again with vinyl and get a complete blue and white theme inside. Seats, dash, everything. Sapp, I think that is some type of grounding wire. Since you cannot disconnect it anywhere, go ahead and cut it, would you be able to pop that pin out thats holding it and be able to pop it back in? Cutting it though may be your best bet, just don't mix up the whites and blacks. Good luck. Dan

After looking at the pic some more, just cut it. Don't try to get that pin out. ITs only one wire. You can handle it. Go for it.

Dam just so you all know for next time, to take that off, that piece on the far back UNSCREWS. If you look at the picture close it is two seperate parts and the grooves are so you can get ahold of it. Good Luck!
