i used this ARMORALL spray on leave on thing for 60sec (one minute) then wash off with water hose... then i walk away for like 5minutes after washing them off... i come back to something that looks like corosion... as if someone put baby powder on my rims and ran away trying to play some kind of sick joke! on me...

anyways... i tryed washing them again with soap and water ... it kinda helped but i can still see those damn spots...

can anyone recommend something that will help...???

Just saw Your profile, Are those the wheels in question? If so then You prolly did fry the clear coat on the polished lip and the only way to fix them is by stripping the clear coat off with aircraft stripper and then hand polish the lip.

Well post up a pic of the damage and I'll let You know for sure. Eventually what will prolly happen is the damaged clear coat is gonna yellow and start flaking off.

Thats what happened to me...I ate off some of the clear coating. I had to strip it all off. BUT even tho I have to hand polish the lip with Mothers Billet cleaner once a week, they shine like you wouldn't belive. More work, better looks! thumbsup
