So I think most people here know that I totalled my car about last month. https://celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f_1870258320_0_collapsed_5__1.html

I got word back from my insurance agency. I'm getting 16K on a car I paid 12.5K on. Now should I go buy a car roughly 12.5k and use the rest on insurance or just blow the check on something else?

I would go with what you said bro... Spend about the 12k and use it on insurance because your rates are going to suck when you get the cash...

Buy a Ol' Toyota Corolla GTS. They run about 4k for a NICE one. Then, take the rest of the money, rebuild the engine, turbo it, buy coilovers, get some great drift sways, and BOOM BABY! You got yourself prolly the most fun car to drive on the planet! And if you still want a celi after that... I will trade you mine strait up! thumbsup

Yeah just get another celica, but since you seem to be in love with older american cars find one of those and fix it up from scratch or w/e.
