What do you think would look better on a silver Celica GT, a 17'' or 18'' rims?

It all depends on the type of roads you drive and on how worried you are about bending a rim.

17s for looks and more sidewall protection

18s for better looks but you have to drive more carefully

17's, nicer ride, less chance of fuckin up your wheels, and you still have a show look.

I just put on 18"s about two weeks ago and would not go back. It's not as rough a ride as I anticipated. Just be sure to get a quality brand if you go 18 because you DO increase your chances of tweaking the rim as you go up in size. Volk, RacingHart or Enkei are my faves. I have Enkei RS6s and love the look.

THE BIGGER THE BETTER!!!!! WHEN IT COMES TO LOOKS AT LEAST. ANYTHING UP TO 19 WOULD BE NICE.

get the 18s. I was thinking of buying some 19s, just wondering why do you have to be more carefull about em?

a couple reasons.. for one, the tire will necessarily be thinnner and you run a higher risk of denting the rim if you hit a pothole hard. second, since your tire won't hang over the side as much, you run a higher chance of curb rash
