Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior i'm desperate

i'm having one of my nights where i feel like shizz cause i feel like i'm slow because my gts is sports-shift and it has 130 torque... my neighbors mustang has 215hp and 290 torque stock and it cost him like 10k... it's pathetic... anyway can someone enlighten me on some quick cheap power? Until the man, david draper, can create a turbo that's affordable for us gts celicas i need power... i'm talking nitrous oxide... i'm scared to death of it because i love my car and i dont wanna hurt it... can someone update me on nitrous since i havent been paying attention to it lately... still damaging the engine? is there anything new that came out that i could use? i just wanna be able to beat up on se-r sentras and stick integras (i got beat by a 92 GS stock)... so any help is appreciated, i just don't wanna damage my engine and lose my car because of nitrous or any other source of quick power... thanks guys

just say fuck it , if you wanted to race, i sugguest your should have gotten a stick, but if you were very unpatient like me and ended up getting a auto gts, then ya i kno, it sucks.. but like me imma get a basic setup, intake, exhaust, pullys, and a 50 or 75 shot of nos..that shouldnt be to bad for our 1.8L engine, plus mustangs are hella over rated, i see a shit load each day, i hardly see any celica where live, Modesto, California, very urban place to0... and ya i think a stock gts can take on a se-r sentras

thanks bud... yea i raced my friends automatic se-r and i get my ass kicked lol... it's all good tho i'm feelin a little better now anyways... gona stick to the game plan and just go with basic setup like you said and then make it a show car, get me some trophies, maybe some kinda money, make good memories till it's time to move on and upgrade to something faster heh

if you like to race , then keep the celi for a fun drive and but a sti . then bring it to your friends house and SMOKE THAT MUSTANG. but thats just me.hehehee

The strengths of the Celica are not power or speed. The Celica's strenghts are that for the price it is an amazing looking car; handles well and corners like a car priced over 30k. If you really want to race you should be moddin' a 350z or a WRX sti.
