On another note, sounds like you got scammed, cause I don't think they make one for our cars.

TRD probably didn't offer the CAI cause the Celica is so low to the ground, so they figured hydrolocking might be an issue. The Matrix/Corolla sits much higher off the ground.

Sounds like a scam.
On another note, also watch for people trying to sell "AEM SRI's" for our cars.
Often times, they are just a generic CAI/SRI with a sticker slapped on them.

Probably got it from E-Bay right? What the person did was probably take an Iceman intake and slap a TRD emblem on it.

The "TRD" CAI on eBay is just another AEM replica, just with a TRD sticker on it, and the price marked up about 400%. Kinda funny, since it's the same intake that was sold as a "Mugen" intake a while back. Looks like Mugen is cheating on Honda.

At best, if it was a real TRD CAI, it would be either a 1pc AEM or Injen CAI, both with a nice fat price markup. That's what they do for other Toyotas (rebadge other name brands' intakes). Funniest thing about that pic above is, the silicone coupler would cover half the TRD sticker when installed.

I contacted Toyota dealership about the TRD ground wire kit I found on EBay. Nobody there had even heard of it. Seems to be common for people to slap TRD emblems on something to sell it. Like throwing VTEC on something, but alittle different. Then again, I used to think TRD didn't make superchargers

Probably wont take it back. Id make sure before you send it that they will refund you the whole amount. Ebay is too big a risk.
