Defensive driving school here i come! Well i posted how i got my ticket a long time ago. Ran from the cop doin 18 over blah blah blah amost got a CNI and taken to jail yadda yadda... So i fought it and had to pay like $125 for my attorney and the other day i just got a response from them sayin i have to pay an additional $72 and take this Alive at 25 class. Oh boy i can't wait  . Had anyone taken these classes before?

i did, waste of 8 hours of my life. all we did was watch videos and discuss about them after each of them.

i guess its different for each state. you can go to a 1 day class for 8 hours straight or 2 day class for 4 hours each. we had to watch 8 videos and they where 45 mins each.

the videos shows you how to be a better driver. most of it is common sense.

I've been to a few defensive driving courses in my time. They can be worthwhile if you want them to be. It also depends on the instructor. The coolest I went to was done by a cool woman who likes riding motorcycles. Once I went to one in California, where I used to live, and the instructor apparently didn't want to be there either. So he just had everyone sign in, then sent us home. If one of the students had wanted to turn him in, I'm sure he would have been in trouble  If a class can keep you from getting a ticket on your driving record, its definitely worth it.

my bf just went to one here in colorado and he said they showed them a bucnch of videos of bad accidents.

I just got a ticket three weeks ago. Waiting for my stuff in the mail. Driving school sucks! They make it so damn boring you'd never speed again. Almost never.  Alive @ 25? What even happened to live fast and die young? They should be showing you more Red Asphault. The opposite effect works much better.
