Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior What's involved in installing bigger rims/tires?

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get Enkei RS6's, and likely 17" (I won't be able to kit or drop for some time, unless there's some reason that 18's are better?). Anywho, if I order from 1010tires.com, they'll put the tires on and balance 'em and include the proper installation kit (lugs/bolts). I'd like to do the install myself, but my parents don't thinks that's a good idea. So I'd like to know what exactly is invovlved (in case I'm missing something). I know I'll need a torque wrench, but what else should be done? Should I get/will I need an alignment? Is there anything else I'd need to know to put on my own rims?

hopefully the tires will be on the rims already or u'll have more problems putting it on by urself.

yeah, they're put on and balanced and the valve stems are installed, all before they get to my door.
