I have about 20,000-25,000 to spend on a car. What would you get? I like the celica a lot but with that much i could possibly get a supra TT or somethin else nice. What car would you get if you have that much to spend on a car?

SRT? Evo? STI? WRX? Could be more than your price range but it's all worth.

Don't listen to people about the Z's cost. A base model Z comes with all the major options (power everything) for $27k sticker. But, there is no backseat. If you want a new car for under 30k, the Z or GTS are great options, depending on how badly you need four seats. If you're looking used... a Supra TT would be awesome. The problem will be finding one that is stock, and you do NOT want one that someone else wrenched on and abused. A 3000GT is another good option.

What car would you get if you have that much to spend on a car? Duh, if you have any taste or style the Celica is the obvoious choice nothing comes close in style. Sorry but you did decide to ask on a Celica forum and I'm here for one reason and that is because the Celica takes the cake. Now if they would just build the engine. Wouldn't choose anything else though.

why dont you buy a used gts celica for around 15,000! and then put a turbo in it or supercharge it with a nice shot of NOS! IMO i love the celica's and i would get one if I had that much money!

Might look at the Maxda RX-8 while you're at it. It technically HAS 4 doors, but it's like a two-door (as in, it has the two normal doors, and when those are open, you can open a second set in the opposite direction for easier back-seat access).
I think it has pretty decent bucket seats for the back as well as the front.

RX-8 will be hard to mantain once its engine is one of a kind Z, Supra, EVO, or WRX will be good,
What are looking for fast everyday car stock or a car that your gonna make fast.
I think it will be more fun to get a 2000 Gts or something like that then custom TWIN turbo strenghen the gears, rebuild engine and have a 11 second car then get sponsers and buy another car for everyday use

evo mr has more power
evo 8 and rs are the same engine They all have the same Engine. The suspension is what is different. MR has Bilstein. the others do not.

MR has Bilstein. the others do not. yea its the same engine but the MR was given a larger turbocharger for improved low- and mid-range power, and its a 6-speed instead of the 5-speed evos, lightweight body parts and so on...its not just the suspension its 276 hp instead of 271...lol a bump of 5 but the big change was the 300 lbs of torque

just keep in mind the cost of repair...if you were to buy a supra, what would happen if you wrecked it or it broke down for some reason? it would cost you an arm and a leg to fix it...not including how much the price of insurance would be.
the supra would be a great 2nd car..but if it is to be your primary driver..i personally would recommend against it.

Hey, if you like the supra, then get it. It is badass and always will be. The first time I seen one floor it, leaving a car show, I got chills. The sound of the engine was awesome. It was a block away in seconds. Then you heard the blow off valve screech as he went into second gear and he was gone. Look at this one below. Are you looking at the other badass cars parked with it? Me neither, I was too busy drooling over the Supra. It also has the Racing Hart CX wheels I want. Good luck with your decision. It's a hard one. I love my Celi, but I will get a Supra someday.
