ok i must have replaced my fogs about 3-4 times in this past year...twice with MTECT and 2 other times with another brand both higher quality output...each time my stupid fog lights burned out but this time my DRL's went with it...now heres my Q...i think its caused by the fuse...becuase otherwise why would they make the fogs...but anyways let me know what you think its starting to bug me (jack up the car pop out plastic, change bulb...blah blah blah etc you know how it is )

i think its time to invest in a HID unit...saves trouble and dont have to worry about frying wires...or your car...

Do the lights even function upon changing the lights? If you click the fogs on and then suddenly the fuse goes out. Check if anything your wiring or the bulbs wiring. If they just bust maybe your watts on the bulb is not correct.

have you remove the fog lamp enclosure and shook out all of the excess debris that may be in there??? or wipe-down clean as much of the fog lamp enclosure that you can? I know its a tight fit in there - but a cleaning might be all that is needed rice

simply remove the enclosure from your vehicle and open then take the bulb out from it - now shake it upside down to have any type of road debris fall out from it...

it is possible that if you previously had a bulb blow, there could be glass left in there and that may be what's prematurely killing your new bulbs...

Also make sure you're not touching the bulbs when you're installing them...I accidentally did that on my first pair and they went out a month later.
