I just found this picture, this kit costs 30 bucks. I was wondering what does this for? And how to install?

"what does this for"?
it supplies the electrical system in your car with better quality grounds. it is said to add about 5 hp and supposedly with the ground kit it doesn't put as much electrical drain on the car. for example your lights won't dim while putting up windows, they may go up quicker, and i think as the car gets older i would imagine that kit will help prevent bullshit CEL's due to bad grounds as the car gets older. there are directions for the install on the install section of this site and teamcelica.org. i want to do this, has anyone on here done it? and what do you think?

I have that ground wire kit and an Optima yellow...

- install was pretty easy if you follow the guide. Don't expect any horses out of it but dimming issues are usually resolved

there might be increase of .1 hp grin but thats not the reason why you should buy it.

the main and important reason is that is balances your engery consumption. no more dimming of headlights/dome light. works wonders when using any electricity-consuming object in your celica.

3/16" would be close but a little small.

PS. I am planning on offering blue kits as a special order option soon.

If you have an Optima yellow, you don't need a groundwire kit. This is what I was told. wave
