Took my car out for the first time today since I hit the curb. Still have my rims on (didn't change back to stock) when I hit 80kmh it really starts to shake, also heard a bit of noise from the back (the side that hit the curb) I'm going to switch back to my stock rims tomorrow, and buy two new rims to replace my damaged ones. Does this sound like an alignment problem in the front and a camber problem at the back? Or something more serious.

I'm booked in this tuesday for an alignment, though I'm going to try to get one tomorrow somewhere else. I guess once they get it on the lift they can tell if it's something more. Piss me off.

Oh well. Any ideas would be welcomed.

Yap, get it on a lift and have all the suspension inspected so you can disect all the possibilites. Doesn't sound like anything is really damamged if the steering wheel is just shaking. Sounds more like the common alignment, balance, and camber symptons never know though. Hopefully all the suspension beneath is not damaged and the problem isn't bigger. Follow you instincts better to be safe than sorry.
I think it's just a common problem nothing big. smile thumbsup

Yeah I don't know if I'd even say the steering shakes, more of a vibration I guess. I'll try to get it looked at tomorrow. I hope it's nothing big.

Yah...I always miss one of them eh? rolleyes

I'm driving my Celi for the first time in over a week tomorrow. I sat in it tonight and wow eek we're got nice interiors. A week driving a '96 Neon will make you appreciate some Toyota quality. I can imagine the roads are much worse up there for you though...drive safe thumbsup

it's warmed up, up here & the roads are all dry. It's such a shame I can't enjoy them. I'm stuck with my 88 camry or my wife's 02 windstar. it's just not the same. frown
