I'm wondering where you can buy custom fit sub boxes. I've looked around a bit and havent found anything.

anything custom you'll need to go to an audio shop (NOT circuit city or best buy & the like). around here there are shops like House of Sounds, R&D audio, ZM audio, etc...you get the point.

most custom shops are locally owned, stand-alone shops and not chain stores..so dig out your yellow pages and look around thumbsup

it's also a good idea to know what you want before going in there..they'll be able to offer you advice as well

I would find the people in your area who have kickass custom boxes & see where they got theirs. There are too many idiots out there building & selling custom boxes that don't know what they are doing.

Mobile One is one of the few chains that operates in my area that can do custom work...i'm not sure how far they have spread out though...i would venture to guess they are not in your area, though.

another good idea is to go to a gas station or grocery store and pick up a Steals & Deals or News On Wheels magazine. these magazines are an accumulation of LOCAL car classifieds and they virtually always have ads for at least a few custom audio shops. and as i already mentioned--they will be in your area. thumbsup
