I don't know much about sound systems, but I need a little help with a few simple questions, mainly concerning subs...

1) Can a mono amp run 2 subs, or is it only for 1 sub? I don't really understand the science behind mono vs. two channel amps, etc.
2) How powerful of an amp (how many watts) will I need to adaquetely power those two subs?

1. yes a mono amp can run 2 subs...its better like that
2. 500 watts maybe? i dont really know because those subs were hideous and didnt care to look at them anymore

those subs are gay...

yes, mono amps can power 2 subs... you have to bridge them.

those subs are more of a joke than flame q's.

then could you give some suggestions for a nice pair of subs running' around $150 if ya' don't like those
