has anybody had any problems with burning the wirings of the headlamps after replacing the stock bulbs with aftermarket hyperwhites? i did that to my old integra and but i don't think i burned any of the wirings. i just want to make sure it's ok with the celica...

and about the hyper whites,I had a 95 eclipse with hyper whites that burned my wires. It depends on with kind you buy some have to many watts that are just not necessary for your car and will cause that to happen, but if you buy a really good kind like piaa or mtec lights you shouldnt have to worry about that happening.

if you put in the wrong wattage or low quality bulbs such as APC - you run the risk of burning the wire harness. Another thing that will burn the wire harness is incorrect installation (partially inserted) or wet connectors.

The stock 2000+ Celica H7 low beams come with adapter to prevent against melting - but if you install incorrectly (as mentioned above), you will melt that PLUS your harness - no matter what bulb you install (even stocks)

If you do happen to burn that connector, the cost for replacement is about $7 each side

well, might as well stick with stock huh? but man, those hid look alikes looks really bad on a celi!
