Can anyone help me understand what I will need exactly to swith my automatic 1991 Celica GT to a Manual? I will soon have the 3SGTE engine and it comes with a manual transmission so what else will i need? thankyou.

well i can tell you it will be a pain...far as i know youll have to have new pedals reinstalled cause you now need a clutch pedal installed...there is more invloved this is all i know...an its going to cost $$

About $3000 if I remember correctly, minus parts and labor.

New ECU, new transmission, shifter unit, clutch, brake and accelerator pedals, etc. I'd love to do the same, but I should have gotten the manual when I had the chance. Its easier to use both hands while driving when you have an automatic, though. Like holding a cell phone or drinking a beverage. Still, theres a lot to miss out on.
