Oh sorry I forgot to add that this is for my custom turbo on the celica, the DSM would give me the hiss. I had a friend give it to me, but I am wondering if there is a reason why I should sell it for apexi or turboXS or something.

Love the looks and sound of the HKS.
That's a good looking Celi you have there. Love the wheels. Can we see pics of the turbo install. Mine is in the shop right now for the turbo install. Got any advise for me before they finish?

I havent installed yet, just compiling parts. Good luck, what kind of kit do you have? I will be taking her in for the install whenever this custom manifold gets made for me.

I am having a custom kit made. I am so picky that I don't like the way the pipes are ran on any kit. The way the Red Dragon did his turbo is the best looking I have ever seen, so I will copy him and then just improve it from there. Like the custom made chrome intake manifold they are making for me right now and I had my stock plastic spark plug cover chromed. Should look pretty good.
How much are they charging you for your custom intake? Mine will be about a thousand.

Shit. I just realized that you probably meant "custom exhaust manifold."

Yeah, Im getting a company that makes a lot of MR-s 1ZZ turbo kits to fabricate a log exhaust manifold for me. How does red dragon run his pipes, I was wanting to run the pipe from the turbo to the FMIC over the passenger side of the valve cover and then down to the intercooler. FMIC will flow passenger to driver side and on up to the intake. I was even discussing canibalizing my AEM CAI and running the intercooler pipe into it because at a certin point it would easily line up with a 90 degree bend from the intercooler.

You don't need it. The OEM DSM BOV is one of the best, and will reliably hold 30psi, which is wayyyyyy more than you'll be running.

Aerowilson182,
That's sounds very cool. Can't wait to see how that comes out. As for how Red Dragon runs his pipes, I wish I could find a picture of his engine. He is not on any Celica site that I know of. I also can't find him anywhere on the internet.
The only picture I have is in a magazine, that I left at the shop so they could copy his set-up. That would great if somebody here knew how to find pictures of his engine. I bet isaac could.
Anyway, I'll just tell you. He moved the battery to the trunk and has the air filter where the battery was. Then one pipe going between the valve cover and the spot where the battery was. I'll keep searching for a picture. The owner of the Red Dragon is Ivan Vasques. I think that's how to spell his name.
I like that set-up because I can still show off the passenger side of the engine that I have polished and the chrome oil catch can will sit there also. The engine cover will be cut down a little to show off the engine and still cover the ugly passenger side of the engine bay. What do you think?

That will look very cool. What do mean "save the valve cover"? I'll be back in a couple days. I'll see if I can find that picture I was telling you about then. Still no luck. I was going to start a Topic and ask everybody if they could find a picture of the Red Dragons engine because I have looked everywhere online that I can think of.

Now is that a beautiful set up or what? That's how mine is being done right now. Except I'll have a chrome intake manifold and chrome spark plug cover. Still can't decide if I want to add a couple carbon fiber pieces or leave them painted red like they are now.

VSGTS14, Yes, that is the best looking engine I have ever seen. Your car with that engine would be damn hot. Why are you changing your wheels anyway. I love your wheels. What does your engine look like now?

Yep that is one clean setup, but I think I might try for the set-up i posted earlyer because it wont be as hard to run the piping IMO. When I said save the valve cover I ment be able to keep that black plastic peice that says VVT-i on it. I was hoping to upgrade to that TRD Carbon Fiber engine cover down the road.

Cool. I have to go look at Sultans engine now.
Hey, Aerowilson182, I thought you gave up on this conversation and I was just talking to myself. So you were talking about the spark plug cover. Is that what they call it or do they call it an engine cover?
I seen a Carbon Fiber cover for $100. I forget what site, but I'll try to find it if you haven't seen them that cheap yourself.
Saving that cover was important to me too. It looks like something is missing without it. That's why I paid $275 to have mine chromed.
Well let me know how the install goes.

Oh, VSGTS14, I forgot to ask you what kind of wheels you found? I'm going with the black Racing Hart CR's if trdxyr will ever get back with me on the price. Do you know trdxyr? I bought his trd coilovers, but I never see him post here.
