I am comptemplating getting some new rims. I reallly like white rims, but my celica is also white. How do you think white on white would look. Also, Do you like gunmetal on white. Post pics if you got um. Thanks.

I think the second pic looks tight, but it might look better w/ some color differences, it kinda looks plain.

Yeah the drawback of white on white is your locked in to that scheme I've tried c/f hoods and other mods like the new c/f rear license plate thing and they don't blend well because of the wheels. but I love the monochromatic look

It's always so hard to decide what to get because there are so many opinions and you don't want to mess up and buy something and regret it...

yeah rims are expensive as hell..i have a white car and havin problems deciding on what to get

i don't really like bronze..i'm more leaning towards silver or gunmetal

If you like it!...But my taste is just the 5 spoke kind in gunmetal!

those white rims with the polished lip are way too small...I like JayC's setup a lot...but multi-spoked gunmetals with a polished lip look best IMO

i don't like white.

a celica with white on white is too much white. like i'm one to say, i have white rims also. unfortunately my stock tires were bald and i had old rims kickin' 'round.

i'd say hyper-black, gunmetal, or something. with a white car adding a black carbon fiber hood or something you need a transitional color like grey to help meld in the contrast. grey shaded rims add this smoothing color to coordinate the car's overall flavor.

gotta register my car and have it inspected in a month. contemplating getting awesome winter tires for my stock rims or just dishing out a bit more for new gunmetal rims with cheap new tires...

also, white rims are bitch to keep clean, with road grime, brake dust, and the like...

i wash my car once a week at the minimum occasionally using a rim brush as well. are you ready for a big maintenance commitment?

Black wheel, polished lip, white Celi. Very cool.

Not true I wax my wheels when I wax the car and the dirt and grime rinses right off on wash day.

CID498 i have extreme difficulty getting a rim brush or any means into the wheel well. getting between the rotors and the calipers yield such little clearance to effectively clean it out.

hmmm, never thought 'bout waxing the rim though. interesting...

Get gunmetal or black if you plan to get a carbon fiber hood. If not then white on white is okay. IMO the whites never match though and it doesn't look good.
