I'm working on unbolting my exhaust (temporarily, of course). Anyway, in the installs section, it says: 2) Pull the 2 muffler sections apart from each other (leave the back section of the muffer still hanging from the rubber hangers) How far apart do the muffler sections need to be? Can they touch, or what's the secret for keeping them apart? I unbolted it, and I love the sound, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to mess something up by not seperating them correctly!

you will not mess anything up, the only thing that could happen is they are too close and you start hearing rattling from the two pipes contactin (very annoyin by the way) oh and make sure you stored away the gasket you will need it later

The gasket being the one between the two pipes (attached to the front-end pipe), right?

Ok, the gasket is safely tucked away And yes, the pipes tend to rattle against eachother a bit, which is annoying as all hell... But it's only off temporarily (couple days maybe), then it's going back together

But it's only off temporarily (couple days maybe), then it's going back together just remove the entire rear section of the exhaust, all your doing is restricting air flow with it unbolted on the stock exhaust because its pointed right at the muffler flange. theres 3 hangers use a ton of wd40 and the strength of zeus

I'll get a sound clip of mine up later today... I mainly wanted to see what it would sound like, so pulling the whole rear section off is a little more effort than it's worth, since I'll just be putting it right back on (probably today ) And yes, it's very loud Of course, my sound recorder blows, so, we'll see how it turns out
