I guess it is another FAKE product from Ebay. There is no TRD shift light.

Here is the information on the TRD Recording Sequential Shift light:

TRD Recording Sequential Shift Light Kit, designed and developed by the same engineers who powered Toyotas 2003 winning Indy 500 race car.

Designed for use with all manual transmission Scion vehicles, the kit features a racing-style shift light with 6 blue ultra-bright LEDs that light sequentially then flash in [censored] at the shift point. The Shift Light Kit also:

Includes a billet aluminum display housing with an engraved TRD logo
Records and plays back up to 45 seconds of RPM and air fuel data
Monitors rich and lean conditions with the press of a button

The TRD Recording Sequential Shift Light Kit comes complete with light, mounting bracket, control unit, instructions and all required wiring. The control unit is engineered to allow the light to be upgraded to monitor other functions or control other in-vehicle light systems.

FEATURES
Sequential Gear Shift Light
The shift light kit consists of 2 electronic modules, the light housing and the controller. The controller enables the desired shift point and the span rpm of the light sequence. Both are set using discreet 100 rpm steps on separate switches As you approach the desired shift point the lights will start to come on one at a time, sequentially. When the exact desired shift rpm is reached, all LEDs will flash together. By connecting to the Toyota dash dimming system, the shift light intensity is automatically adjusted for night time driving. Two different light patterns are selectable.

Air Fuel Monitor
Designed to use the Toyota OE lambda sensors, this feature allows real-time viewing of the air fuel mixture. The right hand LED indicates a rich mixture and the left hand LED indicates a lean condition. Toggling between 3 and 4 center LEDs indicate a Stoich condition.

Replay Feature
This feature enables the user to log and replay up to 1 minute of rpm and shift lights or rpm and air fuel ratio. The data is replayed using the OE tachometer and the light housing. Pressing and holding the multifunction button with the engine is running starts the logging. When the car is switched off and the ignition turned on the data can be replayed by pressing the multifunction button.

**Also the prices that i saw ranged from $275-320

why are you telling me that?
i'm not the one with a HUGE TACH in my car anyway, like a lot of people. rolleyes

i wouldn't mind having it, a shift light is very nice to have, had one in the wrx.

+1 for that.

How big is this thing? There's no obvious link to a bigger pic or any dimensions. If it's the size of the Apex auto timer (for example) and it has small lights, OK. But if that thing is going to sit and blind you every time you redline, I don't get it.

And $275-$300! eek
